Servonaut M211
M211 dual electronic speed controller - Made in Germany by tematik
Description
The M211 is special dual speed controllers with 5 operation modes for tracked vehicles and dual shaft boats or for use as separate main and auxiliary drives, e. g. tipping bodies, hydraulic pumps, or traverse thrusters.
The newly developed operation modes integrate mixer functions which are optimized for their special purpose. In consequence, you get a very realistic driving experience, especially with track vehicles. Conventional cross mixers tend to lose the exact curve radius while accelerating or decelerating. The new matrix mixers of M211 guarantee a constant curve radius in almost all situations, and the well established seamless EMF-brake gives unprecedented control, even when driving a curve up or downhill.
Mode 1, override: This mode simulates a mechanical overriding drive. The reversing turning direction is contrary to the one known of vehicles with steering axle.
Mode 2, true: In this mode the motors begin to rotate in opposite directions when accelerating with fully deflected steering. With increasing speed the model gradually moves on a more and more curved trajectory. The reversing turning direction is identical to the one known of vehicles with steering axle.
Mode 3, half-track: In this mode only the outer motor begins to rotate when accelerating with fully deflected steering. With increasing speed both motors start to rotate in the same direction. The motors will never turn in opposite directions. The reversing turning direction is identical to the one known of vehicles with steering axle.
Mode 4, two separate controllers: Both esc's work independently with one exception: In case of undervoltage or overload of one esc, both controllers will reduce output power in the same ratio. The characteristic is strictly linear and thus directly controllable via radio setup. It's suited for vehicles with different wheel diameters like tractors or different reduction ratios between two driven axles.
Mode 5, main and auxiliary drive: Both esc's work independently. The main esc also controls reversing and brake light. This mode is useful for track vehicles with a mechanical override or steering drive or for models with a power take-off function like pump, tipper spindle, or traverse thruster.
